Niche is more than a construction company. Scott Hildula, its founder, started renovating 100-year-old homes in San Francisco in the 1990s. With an additional background in journalism and real estate reporting, Scott has a unique perspective on homes and their owners. He’s able to marry his experience and passion as a builder and designer with his acute and reliable communication skills.
Our Homebase & Reach
Located in the heart of the San Francisco East Bay, Niche Construction has a fully operational woodshop and showroom in Walnut Creek, open to the public by appointment.
Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are made locally, greatly reducing the wait time for orders from across the country to be shipped. We offer a complimentary visit to the shop for our customers so they can interact with, and choose, their own wood species before we begin construction.
We work in Walnut Creek and surrounding cities: Orinda, Moraga, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Alamo, Rossmoor. As well as further afield: Clayton, Napa/Sonoma Counties, Hayward, Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco.
